- Worked with a trade association to help them secure an exemption from the Climate Change Levy for electricity produced from methane from coal mines.
- Assisted a court user body to successfully argue for several contentious parts of a judicial reform Bill threatening judicial independence to be withdrawn by the Government.
- A professional association gained support for, and secured, six amendments to a Housing Bill with our advice.
- Helped to establish a new All Party Parliamentary Group which attracted an initial membership of 64 MPs and Peers, and had a Minister speak to it at its first proper meeting.
- Assisted a social housing organisation with seeking better protection for the rights of tenants from the Localism Bill resulting in DCLG issuing strengthened guidance for local authorities incorporating most of the organisation's suggestions.
- After waiting for over 40 years for statutory regulation, a professional group gained this through a Private Member's Bill after a sustained and well planned public affairs campaign.
- Helped to achieve an amendment to the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Bill ensuring adequate resources for dealing with stray dogs.
- Successfully organised a campaign to help secure a public inquiry for a major planning application, backed by 27 local MPs, in the teeth of opposition from the local authority.
- A major charity gained a substantial increase in grant by means of a widespread public affairs campaign, acknowledged by the Cabinet Minister concerned as particularly effective.
- Helped a power company with its communications strategy for a controversial application to burn petcoke; the application met with minimal local opposition.
- After a three-year public affairs campaign, a medical charity achieved the placing of a product on NHS prescription.
